Visit us at Rother Barn Christmas Tree Farm, and pick your own Christmas tree! We offer a personalised service to all of our customers, and have built many friendships along the way. We like to greet all customers on arrival, and issue a tag with your name written on it. You are then free to take a ride on the tractor and trailer around the grounds, or wander through the fields and choose your perfect tree!
Once you’ve chosen, you tag the tree that you like and let one of our friendly members of staff know. We are then on hand with a chainsaw to cut your tree down to size. We will then get this trimmed up and netted, ready for you to take away and enjoy over the festive season. Your PYO tree really couldn’t be any fresher!
If you are looking for a larger tree, you should be able to find a fresh PYO on the farm, or if you are looking for a very large tree for a town centre, village hall, school etc, these are available and we can also organise delivery and installation.
Christmas trees take roughly 5 years to grow once planted. Growth is around 1foot per year, so the trees that dont get picked, just get left to grow! This means we are fortunate enough to have plenty of BIG trees.
We also have standard sized 5-7ft trees available this year, but stock is limited. We also have a premium grade pre-cut selection.
You can also visit our onsite shop where we also offer a selection of locally handmade fresh wreaths and a good variety of Christmas decorations and tree stands.
We also have a licensed “container bar” on site so you can grab a mulled wine or cider to warm you up, or a hot beverage.
